POSITION DESCRIPTION

This position requires a creative mind with a lot of vision to implement the marketing strategy in alignment with business development.  If you’re a high achiever looking for an opportunity with a construction management firm with a great culture, this may be for you.

The primary responsibilities of the Director of Marketing shall be to produce consistent and professional marketing materials for all Meyer Najem LLC entities and to establish and maintain a professional corporate image both internally and externally.  

Primary Tasks:

  • Be creative and provide big picture vision while implementing marketing plans and/or campaigns as strategic business development and corporate marketing tools.
  • Produce corporate videos that align with Meyer Najem branding and marketing strategy
  • Maintain established marketing brand standards, style guides, and brand book
  • Serve as a marketing resource for all internal and external customers
  • Manage marketing staff and oversee workload, ensuring work is completed with a high level of quality
  • Oversee collateral material development including experience booklets, brochures, datasheets, resumes, and reference letters
  • Oversee and execute company functions such as the company holiday party and golf outing
  • Oversee responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, and presentations
  • Oversee the company’s website including blog posts
  • Oversee the development of content and execute all posts on company social media accounts: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn
  • Develop the advertising plan and oversee the creation of advertisements
  • Oversee market research activities and the development of client, prospect, and partner databases
  • Maintain strategic sponsorship database
  • Coordinate and attend tradeshows, conferences, and award ceremonies, including managing booth displays and marketing materials
  • Develop content for and manage the Insights in Construction magazine process semi-annually
  • Create and distribute news releases
  • Participate in the coordination of company events such as training initiatives, quarterly meetings, fundraisers, and award functions
  • Oversee corporate apparel and inventory of promotional items
  • Coordinate company print jobs, such as business cards, letterhead, decals, name tags, annual calendars
  • Manage project signage including managing the ordering process/logistics with vendors, permitting, and installation 
  • Oversee project photography
  • Manage all award submittals
  • Manage the ordering holiday cards and gifts, flowers and memorial donations for employees and external affiliates
  • Coordinate and maintain the Teletrax on-hold messaging
  • Represent the company and the brand with professionalism to clients, peer organizations, and business associates
  • Introduce new employees to the marketing department, take photo, create name plate
  • Actively participate in professional and community organizations including SMPS, NAWIC, ABC and ISA
  • Actively participate in ongoing training to improve/upgrade skills for both personal and professional development

  • Communicate and support all company policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with the MNI Mission Statement

  • Promote MNI to new and existing customers
  • Demonstrate and encourage professionalism in all contacts

  • Some work after hours as necessary based upon critical time requirements
  • Education / Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ degree with 5-10 years of experience recommended
  • Excellent leadership/managerial and mentoring/teaching skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills, able to work without close supervision and in a team environment with tight deadlines
  • Marketing experience preferably in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction Industry
  • Highly creative minded individual
  • Proven writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Must be able to take direction from multiple individuals
  • Must be proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality
