Description
We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager    

Responsibilities
  • Review and expedite submittals, such as; shop drawings, product data and material samples
  • Set-up job files
  • Write contracts and purchase orders
  • Procure materials for the project
  • Write owner and subcontractor change orders
  • Write change requests/proposal requests (CR/PR)
  • Create operation and maintenance manuals, and owner training videos
  • Maintain and update project construction schedule
  • Prepare project meeting agendas, write meeting minutes, and distribute
  • Attend onsite owner and project construction meetings
  • Create and track Request for Information (RFI)
  • Obtain permits for the project
  • Assist the Field Superintendent on site when necessary
  • Assist the Project Manager
  • Prepare and maintain subcontractor/supplier list
  • Procure, track, and forward testing and inspection reports as required
  • Assist in creating and distributing punch list
Qualifications
  • College Degree in Building Construction Management Technology or Construction Engineering Management preferred or 2 years of experience
  • Field experience in construction is preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of construction scheduling
  • Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Well organized
  • Able to read blueprints
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office, project management software, and construction scheduling software

Preferred Requirements for Position (certifications, licenses, degrees, etc.):

  • LEED certified or similar certification preferred but not required
  • OSHA 10 or 30 hour certification preferred but not required
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred but not require
