We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Review and expedite submittals, such as; shop drawings, product data and material samples
- Set-up job files
- Write contracts and purchase orders
- Procure materials for the project
- Write owner and subcontractor change orders
- Write change requests/proposal requests (CR/PR)
- Create operation and maintenance manuals, and owner training videos
- Maintain and update project construction schedule
- Prepare project meeting agendas, write meeting minutes, and distribute
- Attend onsite owner and project construction meetings
- Create and track Request for Information (RFI)
- Obtain permits for the project
- Assist the Field Superintendent on site when necessary
- Assist the Project Manager
- Prepare and maintain subcontractor/supplier list
- Procure, track, and forward testing and inspection reports as required
- Assist in creating and distributing punch list
- College Degree in Building Construction Management Technology or Construction Engineering Management preferred or 2 years of experience
- Field experience in construction is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of construction scheduling
- Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
- Well organized
- Able to read blueprints
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office, project management software, and construction scheduling software
Preferred Requirements for Position (certifications, licenses, degrees, etc.):
- LEED certified or similar certification preferred but not required
- OSHA 10 or 30 hour certification preferred but not required
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred but not require
